KOPI LUWAK

Kopi Luwak coffee is definitely the rarest and most expensive thing in the world, comes from the Indonesian islands, is produced in small quantities and was discovered by the Japanese and from there it spread to Europe and America. Are collected from the ground, among the plantations of coffee, beans digested and expelled from a small marsupial exotic palms civet (Luwak called by the locals), that feeds exclusively of fruits ripe and sweet. The gastric juices that aid digestion create a fermentation process unique among all the coffee, justifying the taste so different and original. After washing and slipped the parchment, the product is bagged in 20 kg bales. Sensory analysis is extremely full-bodied liqueur flavored with herbs and bitter orange marmalade. The aftertaste, dense and very persistent, gives us an unlikely essence of rhubarb.
